Don't worry about it. JB only complains about broad generalities when someone else besides him is using them.

The cops out here arrested a couple of 6 year old boys who got in a fight. I'm not kidding. Now the parents have to go to court, deal with the State Child Protective Fascists and maybe even put their kids on prozac. What a sorry state things have come to.

All those kids graduating from college with those absolutely worthless degrees in behavioral "science" need jobs, right? Where else can they work but for the govt - interfering in family matters. Just what a family needs. Some "expert" who couldn't raise sane children himself/herself telling them how to raise theirs.

Just warn the horseriders in your vicinity that you're riding your bike by firing a .357 in the air every 30 seconds or so.

Normandy & Imperial is now the 105 Freeway. Better speak Spanish. No more "Soul Food".

Yeah, nothing like Ascot at night. The bar across the street would change it's decor for whatever races were running that evening. At 1800, there'd be sprint car pictures, trophies, etc.

Then, at 2100 the bartender would take down all the car stuff, and hang pictutres of TT/Flat track bikes, John Hatley, Gene Romero, etc.

At 2030 the MX stuff would come out, and the TT stuff would go in the "back room". The bartender explained the change in decor would keep down the number of fist fights in the parking lot, after each race.

My Dad sponsored the Bass Brothers for a while back in the early 70's. Steve Bass, Mike Bass and Harlan (?) Bass were madmen. Irwindale, Costa Mesa & Ascot.

Harlan looked like a toothless speed freak, but man, that guy could ride.

Nothing like a 500cc Jawa motor stuck in a 3 speed bicycle frame, running nitro with a total loss oil system.

Ahh, the smell of Castrol R in a pre-heater.

That would get expensive, even with re-loads

Might I point out that .22's bought by the brick or downright cheap and fairly noisey in a revolver

Maybe the next time you use sarcasm you should preface it with a "knock knock" to alert the humor challenged that you are kidding. VWW

If the rider, or their horse, can't hear that 105db growl blasting out of your bike, they have more problems than a dirtbiker slinging horse turds in their face when Mr. Ed gets spooked and throws a 1 HP high side on their arse...

You are so very correct. It is starting already. The 9 year old takes her mom's makeup kit, and does it all up pretty on the drive to the trails. Then we play in the dirt and dust all day, and when she takes off her goggles, it's eyeshadow surrounded by dirt circles.
