So, for those of us who'll sit through it, what should we look for in the movie?

Style question: Is it considered proper to go to the theater in race togs? And do your shoes need to match your purse?

I think MR.ALLCAPS is the Highwayman reborn to the sound of Hip-Hop and smoking tires.

Well it's too bad those kids die each year because they play with matches. There really isn't a difference here. In the right hands, either device (matches or motorcycles) can serve an extremely useful purpose. In the wrong hands, i.e. small children or those with the maturity of small children, they can be deadly. You don't see anyone thinking about new legislation over the use of matches when a child or idiot dies using them, do you?

Default The laws already exist for this one at least in WA State they do.

Several things come to mind that the rider could be charged with:

1. Reckless endangerment

2. Reckless/Carless driving.

3. Involuntary manslaughter

4. Negligent driving 1st degree.

5. Other stuff see [b] Traffic Crimes and Felonies [b]

So I don't think more laws need to be passed LA officials just need to prosecute this guy.

Default The Civil side also has penalities

Wrongful death? Even though the guy who was hit was in the middle of the road, that fact does not preclude the rider from being sued.

Further proof that America is too litigious is shown here by the fact that people may feel the rider, who just killed his friend, should be friggin' SUED for it.

Believe me, even mouth-breater Bubba feels sorry he killed mouth-breather Jethro. How's money going to help?

Default Re: A little more chlorine in the gene pool please,

.....THE HIGHWAYMAN....... leans against the bar at a smoke-filled roadhouse, his tight leather pants, knee high engineer boots and studded concho vest dulled by miles and time conform to his slim but muscular physique surrounded by his burly club mates

All in leather, their brass and silver studs catching and reflecting the glittering fire of an old disco ball spinning lazily, pound drinks in manly fashion. Out of the corner of his Oakley encased eye our hero catches a news flash on the old Magnavox perched at the end of the bar.

Another atrocitour has died, sacrificed to the godless yellow lust for speed. Attempting a wheelie, the youngster has hit and killed a friend filming his adolecent display. While hoots of derision and manly laughter fill the air ........THE HIGHWAYMAN....... deep down, feels a pang of regret.

Though the atrocitour was clearly not a brother in the true sense of manly comaraderie, he WAS a young man who had tasted the freedom of the wind. Now but another young life cut down in it's prime, victim of of the sensationlist exploitation of the gullibility and fearlessness of youth.

As ......THE HIGHWAYMAN...... and his brothers mount up after their third four pitcher beer stop, He stops to think as he dons his rebel flag skull-danna, "I'd never do anything as foolish as that"

The band of brothers weaves of into the night, roaring on in ear-splitting thunder to the next bar and more beer.
