It would appear that you are one of the many in this country that actually believe that the Republican and Democrat parties are two seperate entities.

Apparently you can't recognize a paleo-libertarian diatribe when you hear one. Like anyone that believes that our constitution is the law of the land I oppose wars that are not leagaly declared by congress, as well as illegal actions by our president.

It is obvious from your posts supporting socialism that you, and many others are unfamiliar with our constitution. Please read it before you post anymore drivel. VWW

What the government can LEGALLY regulate is clearly spelled out in the constitution. If you are have trouble comprehending it perhaps one of the brighter souls at your next ARC meeting will help you with it. VWW

And here comes the name calling.

Those with no valid argument or rebuttal usually resort to such tactics.

As BMW said, principled conservatives such as us have no problem condemning extra-constitutional action by a president or Congress no matter what their party affiliation. Other than his reduction of our unjust, progressive, confiscatory tax rates, Bush has been an near-total dissapointment for those that wish to see a return to a legitimate Constitutional government.

Socialists stumping for god-like government control of all humanity may get what they want over our objections but their political ethos falls apart under any pretense of rational scrutiny.

Given that one of the Democratic Party's major constituents are trial lawyers and their money (taken largely from insurance companies) and given our litigation-addicted populace, any claim that the public is under-represented in the courts is imagination of the most fanciful variety.

Get shafted by an insurance company and you will have no shortage of ambulance chasers knocking down your door for a chance to represent you.

Ending Medicare (along with all welfare and social security) would be an excellent start.

It is unfortunate that you do not have enough self-respect to free your mind from the shackles of government power, coersion, and largess. The lengths you will go to to retain your sheep-like mentality are breathtaking. I wouldn't expect you to understand the concept of real human freedom due to your inability to accept the costs associated with it. Clearly the dignity of a truly free human existence is beyond your sphere of comprehension.

Why is it you must resort to cries of party favoritism? Not one of us has as of yet secceeded the moral high ground in this discussion.

The Iraq war was unneccessary and unconstitutional. The Patriot Act has desecrated the 5th amendment. Bush hasn't given the Constitution a passing glance in signing endless programs and spending bills. His only redeeming qualities are a few moral stances on social issues and wearing a suit in the Oval Office. There, I said it.

Default Re: Anti-Discrimination Heathly Insurance Bill in Senate

It's hard to believe I need to point out that the reason insurance companies exist is to make money. The profit motive drives human economics from fur traders to General Motors. Take away the reason to exist (profit) and we'll no longer have an insurance industry to argue about.

Well Abe you know KP likes to offer up opinions about which he knows nothing (like every topic in the universe) and then provides links to sage counsel like Al Gore to prove his points.

I suppose with plenty of experience in the healthcare industry I could offer up plenty but considering this is a motorcycle website, I shall just score our resident teenager as off topic.
