That's the kind of PR we need. Good on those guys for doing that. Hope if I ever get where I can't ride somebody will make my day (maybe on a 2040 ZX-12R though).

First Cal beats USC (GO BEARS!) and then this, the feel good story of the year. Good weekend. Good, good weekend.

thanks for the article.

that was very thoughtful for those harley guys to do that.

but posting it here is preaching to the choir... we need more national exposure re: stuff like this.

AMA hello? i pay for the NRA to protect my 2nd Amendment rights... when the AMA gets their sh1t straight, and does more than changes race rules to ***** off manufacturers and squabble internally, i'll renew my membership...

until then...

Yeah, let's conveniently forget all the good things that the AMA does and let's always remember they don't do EXACTLY as you want. After all this is the "ME" generation. It's all about you and your wants, and until the AMA can do exactly what you want all the time, you will continue to be part of the problem and not part of the answer.

I have to agree with longride on this. What exactly is it that you want to AMA to do?

Great idea, sit on your money. Meanwhile, the liberal land grabbers never sleep, nor do the bureaucrats in there never ending quest to "protect" us. The AMA is fighting these wackjobs for you. Whether you agree w/ them on every issue or not, they're all we got.

-fight the enviro hacks to keep off road areas open and reopen closed lands.

-fought to end health insurance discrimination.

-fought to gain HOV access for bikes.

there's lots more..
