It would actually mean something if they had tested both STOCK, then put on aftermarket goodies, to compare the two. The concept of testing dealer bikes is great, but as conducted this dyno is meaningless.
I suspect that if left stock the Kawi would be consistantly higher in both torque and hp across the board. As tested, both bike's curves are kind-of funny look'n. |

If they ain't on the same dyno, under the same conditions, it don't mean squat -- not that one or 2 hp means squat anyway, as individual bike-to-bike differences will usually be more than that.
Bad enough that they compare them with pipes, they use different brands and don't re-map the efi to match the pipes. What the hell is that supposed to prove? Bob |
