Default Excellent. Now if they would clean up the tracks

I wish they would make the tracks as safe as the MotoGP tracks.

LOL good one. Isn't America great. This is good news I am think the diversity of strong V-Twin teams will be good for series. Even though they won't have a chance to win vs the state of the art inline 4s. Right Buz!

"Head chaps with a hole in the top rather than a helmet. " LOL good one. How about Engine Chaps with a place for a cold beer can to cool that ancient obsolete dying sorry butt V-Twin.

OK I feel better now. Time to get on I-5 and drive 5mph bumper to bumper in the rain. 7 straight days of rain.

Hmmm...Let's see. San Diego was sunny and 75 yesterday so I took a nice ride. Gosh it's going to be in the upper 70s all weekend.

Not even you could rile me Kpaul-san.

I think you, me and longride ought to scrounge up an old H-D VR1000 and campaign it. Heck even Picotte couldn't run near the front so it won't be much different if we're bringing up the rear!

Default AMA VR-1000 lives on!

That is actually a really cool idea. It would definately get asome attention from the press if it did...but I wonder if Harley Davidson would threaten legal action over use of their name without permission...hmmmm...

In the past, some privateers were running VR1000s. Harley had to sell a certain number of them to be able to race in Superbike. I can't remember if it was 50 or 100.

I'm sure a collector would rather watch the bike increase in value over the years rather than wad it on a racetrack.

Default Why harley riders wont wave

Afraid it will invalidate warranty.

Leather and studs make it too hard to raise arm.

Refuses to wave to anyone whose bike is already paid for.

Afraid to let go of handlebars because they might vibrate off.

Rushing wind would blow scabs off the new tattoos.

Angry because just took out second mortgage to pay luxury tax on new Harley.

Just discovered the fine print in owner's manual and realized H-D is partially owned by those rice-burner manufacturers.

Can't tell if other riders are waving or just reaching to cover their ears like everyone else.

Remembers the last time a Harley rider waved back, he impaled his hand on spiked helmet.

They're jealous that after spending $30,000,they still don't own a BMW K1200 LT

I've been on the loud pipes web ring so now I know the truth, and here I thought I liked my Suzuki, come to find out that even though I've been riding for 35 years, I'm still not a real BIKER 'cause I don't have any fringe on my leathers AND my summer gloves are 3 different colors, not to mention my Nobby 2 Shoei, Guess I'm just a lame-o wanna-be after all,,,sheesh
