Let's hear it for the 40 and over sport bike crowd - Hislop da man! Rogaine, Viagra... not necessary. Just get a 998 and you will be able to provide a stiff...

I went over to see the first race of the 2001 BSB season at Donington in April last year. Hislop and Reynolds are both far from being spring chickens, yet both are really the fastest riders in the series. Both are pretty nice guys to talk to as well. I believe they are both older than DuHamel and Chandler...

This is the 2nd straight round the Duck has beaten the mighty 1.0 L Zook - preview of things to come? (AMA is considering displacement changes for the Superbike to allow up to 1000cc or 990cc bikes to enter the foray).

In fact, Reynold's Zook has been the only big gun to place in the top 5 of each BSB round - neither the CBR nor the R1 have been able to.

Makes me wonder if displacement is a moot point as long as the bikes have equal rider talent and factory support?

I love it. 42 years and one knee surgery later, I still ride a sportbike. I will never be as fast as Hislop or Reynolds, but it sure makes me happy to see them win.
