"Aftermarket Accessories" don't add much, if any "value" to a used bike.

Yoos guys is brutal! I guess he will have to figure out that hard way about depreciation on Japanese cruisers.

...very well get it depending on location, but not until spring. I've seen old bikes get pretty good prices since the gas price jump.

Even that off by people dumping whatever they can sell so they can pay their mortgage, and you will find plenty of bargains out there. Used prices are dropping nicely!

Still, can't blame the guy for trying. No need to be this harsh. Save it for the clowns who try to pretend their Mean Streak with a custom paint job is a collector item worth 200% of high retail.
