Why HD didn't make a civi version is beyond me. Instead, the geniuses at HD went with Frank White at ATK to foist re-badged Hyosungs on us, sold at HD dealers.
Instead of starter dual-sports, we get gaudy chrome laden SV650 clones with an ATK badge on the gas tank. I fully expect to see a SV650 clone turned into an Indian any day now. Put some valanced fenders on it, paint it red, and there you go. Instant Indian. Someone please make this nonsense stop. Let North Korea take over. Please God, no more SV650 clones.

They had one of these sitting in the showroom at Rossmeyer HD in '05. It was used and for sale; about $5k, IIRC.
It's just an enduro with plastic boxes and an M-16 rifle carrier (the one at Rossmeyer had a gun case along the front fork). I rode it around the parking lot; it's really nothing special.

I'd rather have one of the KLR's the marines use.
