I too was a miserable law student and the only thing I can think of that would make that worse would have been to submit myself to the tortures of a Ducati 848. Perhaps I'm weak-wristed.

Dude- Look up NPR Ducati on the world wide web. Ask for Paul (the P in NPR) and tell him that Kirk sent you for a 848 and see if magic happens. Good luck.

Actually, I posted a wanted-ad on Craigslist, and I got a response from Ohio, and a guy is driving to MD right now to drop off the bike. I am just going to take it to a bike shop in the morning to get it checked out. Hopefully everything he said is correct, and tomorrow morning I am an owner of a 2009 Pearl White Ducati with1700 miles for $ 10,000.
