Rainbow Trail in Colorado
Rainbow runs 100 miles along the spine of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range. It is rough, rocky and clings to the side of steep hills in places. A challenging trail for sure. It gets particularly "interesting" around 1:30 or so. Quite a drop to my left.
The video also looks foggy in parts. While it was sunny that day, the trail is around 9,000 feet high and there was a thin low cloud layer I was riding in and out of. Mountain riding is a trip. Literally in the clouds  Not viewable on mobile devices as I mixed in music at a low level. Can still hear the bike, but I like the ominous vibe the song gives. Rainbow.mp4 - YouTube |
