I think it's a good looking bike but never cared for that color at all. The tear drop shaped headlight is a little different, I think the Rune had something like that. I always liked alot of sheet metal, meaning valanced fenders, etc but I think it's a bit much for me. No idea what MSRP is but I'm sure it's more then I'd be willing to give.

The new Kings Mountain Chiefs have similiar visual clues to the H-D bikes, but they have many differences. The suspension is very unique to H-Ds employing a mono-shock rear suspension to start. The original engine was based of the Evolution but after earlier problems has be extensively re-engineered. The Baker Direct 6 transmission is a very good piece and the primary drive system is also designed by Baker. Here's a few photos of the Chiefs during assembly in the Carolina factory.

I personally refuse to buy a bike built buy a guy with a mullet. He isn't even a Canadian!! There are certain lines one just doesn't cross I'm afraid

You are opening an existential argument here. Since Indian and HD did build bikes in competition with each other who's to say who copied who? They copied each other. LOL! If Indian had managed to avoid bankruptcy they might very well have half the market today and would probably still be building bikes similar to Harley.

Oh, I sincerely doubt Indian would be building bikes that look like Harleys of today.

Mebbe the other-way-'round................

Indian also makes a more streamlined "Roadmaster" touring model as well.
