i didn't mean right away and i meant like when im ready but do you think the 250 is a good beginner bike and i really need to know a rough estimate on insurance

A 250 is an excellent starter bike and the insurance should be reasonable. You can get some online quotes from Markel or Progressive just to get a ballpark figure for your age and locality.
