Snow Hawks are nice, but they retail for around $12K to $13K.

I'd look on Cat's website, but they're too embarassed to say where they get their engines. At least Polarass is proud to say which have American engines.

Interesting, but it appears to be an answer to a question very few people are asking.

Lessee. I buy a conversion kit for $6600 (plus S&H), tear apart my 'Cat, which cost me at least that much, to build a morphodite vehicle with questionable handling that can't pass a gas station.

I don't know. When you put it like that, it... no, it still doesn't make sense.

But I do applaud your ingenuity!

Now, if you put a blown 502 V-8 in it, we have several guys here that'd be all over it!

Default v8 power

I don't know why you would want a 502 v8 in it. the unit only weighs in at about 500lbs and depending on what type of powerplant your sled has you go from 80 hp to over 170 hp. the power to weight ratio is already high enough. Agreed that this may not be for everyone its still really cool and very fast. We are currently putting together skid pad numbers and cornering and handling number together. when they are available I will put them. Thanks.

Do you have a website?

How can this wheeled sled be lighter than the skied tracked sled?

Well, if you don't "get it", we can't explain it.
