Came across the following article on the release of the 09 Indians. 2009 Indian Motorcycles - First Look - MotorcycleUSA.com The base model Chief is listed at $30,999.00 and the full up touring package is around $34,500.00. Guess they haven't been watching the business channel.

Oh looky. An undersquare air-cooled pushrod operated V-twin. How unique. That's gonna set the world on fire.

But on the plus side they're going to distinguish themselves from HD by mounting the speedo higher. There should be a big lineup to pay 2X HD costs for this unique offering.

The so called "Power 105" motor may not be made at the S&S factory, but S&S sure as h3ll designed the original "Power 100" mill for Indian just before the CMC/Indian connection imploded last time.
