A new Beemer GS. You mean that there will be a new BSA Gold Star? I suppose that you remember that a "Beemer" is the nickname for BSA.

I believe the BSA name is up for sale by those guys who make rebadged Yamaha SR400s.

How's the weather down there? I'm going to ride down on the Triumph for Spring Break, hang out a couple days. I'm nervous it'll be cold (last week of March).

It's been a bit cold & rainy, but really not bad. TRADITIONALLY, there's a big snowstorm around the end of March that dumps a couple of feet on us, yet melts off in two days - but that hasn't happened the last three Winters. I think we're just-about out of the "freezing rain" crap. I'd say less than 50:50 for snow & ice. Or even temps below the high-40's during the day.

C'mon down - still have a guest room open. (that is, unless I'm up THERE fetchin' the PC, but that shouldn't take more than a few days)
