It has nothing to do with loud pipes. And believe it or not I hate loud pipes. But I can always appreciate a person who wants to be stealth whilst cruising. Your definately not going to attract the wrong attention with stock cans.

I mainly posted it as proof that some people like a race
bike for the street. This thing looks so nice and Im sure at even
Highway speeds it's loud,... really loud. Proof the 2strokes will never die!!

Check out that j'AWEsome vented rear disc!

There's nothin' like a set of individual Ti hand-formed expansion-chamber pipes that sez "I spent a shatz-load on this mo-chine, don't tell my Wife......"

Picked this up from another site, and is further proof the twostrokes are alive and alive in a big way. The thing that caught my eye initially was that this event was held at a racetrack I have loved since first time I saw Mamola rip down the front straight. Admittedly my main focal point and what attracts me to this circuit. Airhawk you like expansion chambers checkout the pipes on the sidecar. Awsome track and unforgetable bikes!

I owned an RZV500R for a few years. It was way fun, but you tired of riding around on the pipes all the time.

As far as noise goes, my two stroke dirt bike is quieter than my four stroke. At least as far as the distance the sound travels, anyway.

I'd almost give my left nut for that bike. Think it would be worth dropping an RZV500 motor into a modern frame. Like say a FZR400?

Agreed BRP has achieved this already with their boat motors.

Would have love to see the 500's stick around and become a bit more modernwith FI and a few electronics.

By the way sweet avatar!

by the way, I have an FZR400 for your project...it's gonna prolly cost a small fortune to get it to those Pacific American Islands you're enjoying ! If I can get it thru ,at the airport, into the overhead bin,in my bag, under the seat, or ...?
