Polaris/Victory is working 24/7 to get into the MX scene with a dirt bike based on a one cylinder version of the street bike motor re-sleeved to the requsite 450cc.

Industry sources say the suspension will be handled by White Power, with the chassis produced in-house closley resembling the failed Cannondale design, sans the reversed cylinder head.

Prototypes have been plauged with the leather saddlebags getting stuck in the rear-wheel, but that design feature most likely won't make it to production models.

We say YES to a Victory dirt bike saddlebags or not!

Forward pegs and ape hangers? At least they already have a 21" front wheel.

i own a 2006 victory vegas 8 ball. it is a wonderful motorcycle. never a problem. it came standard with nice wheels,brembo brakes,stainless braded brake lines,a nice oil cooler. the engine is a 100 cubic inch overhead cam 4 valves per cylender motor. it makes a lot more power than the 96 inch air cooled HD . maybe the victory will never win over the HD owners, i do not give a bleep.

I am waiting for them to manufacture some street bikes that are not cruisers. But maybe we can put some street tires on this one and call it a supermoto.

No, now ATK has the defunct Cannondale design in electric bike form. That reversed-cylinder head wacko bolt-up frame design just won't go away so it seems. Even as an electric bike built by Hyosung and badged as an ATK sold in Harley dealerships.

What next? An atomic 4 seat dirigiable built by BRNO badged as a Boeing sold in defunct Saturn dealerships?

Or better yet a new Indian built in China using cast-off Honda 90 cylinders in a v-twin configuration sold in Vespa dealerships?

I'm getting woozy....

They're claiming a 100 mile range for that electro-dirtbike. That'll be the day.

Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tanhauser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in the rain.
