2006 v star 1100 trouble
This little story is for all of you 2006 vstar 1100 riders my bike at 26000 miles lost its middle drive gear and their have been several others in my area that have also had the same problems when this happens the back tire locks up a major safety issue please let me know if it has happened to you I have information for you that may help us all it is a 2500.00 fix feel free to email me valeriebrr@yahoo.com

Interesting. We just had a couple of guys here telling us how superior Yamahas are in every way.
I doubt though that I'd spend 2500 fixing a bike that locks it's rear wheel up.

I'd say wire that sucker up with a 105mm HE shell and wheel it into the showroom of the Yamaha place where you bought it. Get across the street with a cell phone detenator and look out for flying VStar 1100 parts as they rain down from above.
