Does anyone have any inside information of a new VFR from Honda? Will 2010 be the year for an updated liter version of this bike? If anyone knows it would be you guys.

There is no reliable data on a new VFR. Every once in a while some clown makes some stuff up to fill a magazine page. Then the internet buzzes for a while. Until Honda says something official better figure that there is no update.
In the current economy and considering Honda's ridiculous over pricing policy I'd bet there won't be one. They'd just gather dust in the showrooms like the last one anyhow.

I miss my old VFR and would like another one. A nice liter sized engine with 120 HP would be nice. I may have to get something else if they can't come up with something new.

I thought about a Sprint but thats as far as I got. It has all the right features for me. It is not uncommon for me to want something that doesn't exist. My BMW is a great bike but not as sporty as my VFR. I guess I'll just keep looking.

why do you want a liter bike? why does ANYONE need more HP than the current VFR has? are you 500lbs and carry lead bricks in your bags?

Maybe if Buell puts a 'real motor' in their bikes, you might be interested like the millions of others?

Have you ridden the current version? I had an '02 and loved it. I know a lot of the guys here don't like it; saying it's "portly" and that the VTEC is a bunch of hooey. But I found it to be a really great bike, it was plenty fast, really flickable, and was very sporty without being a torture rack. The VTEC "kick" was a blast, and the intake honk was awesome. With Givi bags it's a nice sport-tourer. The single-sided swingarm and underseat exhaust are really good looking too. It seems the build quality may have suffered a bit, but still, for the money, it's a lot of bike.

jmdonald,
Go sit on and maybe even ride a Sprint. While I like the earlier version (pre-'05) better, the ST is an awesome bike. And, it was a direct knock-off of the VFR. Except for the powerplant, which is the best part of the ST and the worst part of the VFR.
