Default New Replacement for Ducati Multistrada?

I cam across this, which links to an article that seems to have images of a new Ducati adventure-tourer that may be the replacement for the current Multistrada model. It would be pretty sweet if they put the 1098 or 1198 engine in a new Multi

I don't know if a 1098 engine would be a good choice for that style of bike. I guess they could re-tune it for more torque down low and less top-end. That spy shot damn sure looks like a GS with a busted-off beak.

Yee-Gads!

And to think they called the Speed Triple the "Pre-Crashed Bike"!

I think the design team got a little too fond of the Transformers thing.

Don't let the spy shots fool you. My dealer buddy showed me a pic of the Multi about a week ago. Think of it as a Hyper with better wind protection and a real seat. It looks very Ducati- very cool. Waaaaaay better than the old Multi.

The 'Strada was ugly without all that anti-spy cladding........

I'll bet that's not the real plastic. They just made it look like a Vstrom so no one would take pictures of it.
