I'm with you! My fantasy of a 'Strada S is just that. I'm thinking the smaller engine would be fine. I'm strangely attracted to it's current style. When these pictures started surfacing I briefly paniced about how I could get one before they changed. I got over it, just like that Claudia Schiffer thing.

Either the guy testing that thing is tiny, or the bike is enormous. Looks like he can barely see over the triple clamp.

Very BMW-esque rear mud guard.

I agree that the air cooled 1100 makes a lot more sense in that kind of bike. I can't see anyone wanting for more power in an "adventure tourer", unless it weighs over 600 lbs.

In which case even BMW would have a hard time calling it an ADV bike.

I'll reserve judgement until the final iteration is released. IMHO, Ducati is producing much better looking bikes than just about any manufacturer these days. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, for now.

Go to Motorcyclenews.com and look at the headlines. Looks as if Ducati wants into the big trailie market enough to test the bike on a supercross course.
