The proper PC name for the fuel pet**** is "petweanie" as in " I always run my fingers over my petweanie before I go for a ride to make sure it's pointing in the right direction. Also check for leaks or dripping, If I find my petweanie dribbling I give the two large nuts a twist and it seems to stop"
If I find mine dripping, I usually just mash it over with a hammer. It's not like I'm gonna use it anytime soon, anyways.........

Must be a British petweanie. When my American petweanie's nuts are twisted properly, fluid is emitted, rather than stopped.

All of the parts are on backorder, and I have waited now 23 days of the best weather Michigan has to offer while they do nothing to please the customer. I highly suggest going with another manufacturer, not because of performance, or ergonomics, or the bike itself, but because Kawasaki apparently doesn't care about the consumer! My bike with <500 miles will be rebuilt along side of a bombardier watercraft and by the same person who just changed the oil in someone's golf cart and I am supposed to be okay with that while I never had a bike that performed like the bike I paid for. If you are in Southeast Mi, stay away from Nicholson's in Ann Arbor and stay away from Kawasaki no matter where you live.
hey ninjabully I feel bad for your experience but it might be just a dealer problem when I bought my 2001 kawi ninja new from mountain adventures in conyers Ga I floated a valve 2 days after I bought 2 days later I had a brand new bike so its not all bad it might just be nicholson kawasaki www.mountainadventuresga.com
