He is slightly vertically challenged. I think he goes about 5'6" or so.
Freeborncustoms.com is the site. I've known Jason for about 7 or 8 years. He's the only guy in this state that still hand builds. Honestly, unless you are a cheap b@stard and want kit stuff, he will almost always bends his own metal and frames. It's really pretty amazing to watch this young guy build with the style and class of Ness or the rawness of Indian Larry. He's a good egg to know when you want something custom done for your bike.

The guy looks like my oldests ex-boy friend except he couldn't build a pile of turds with his pants around his ankles, let alone a running motorcycle.

I'm just too old school for this kind of stuff, the chick looks nice though.

I have yet to see a chopper or pro-street that doesn't make the rider look like he's doubled over in pain. Maybe they are?

Luckily the chopper 'craze' recently got some chlorine in the pool and has, about cleaned out the dopes with more money than brains, and the builders can get back to building old school bobbers and chops for about half the price of those billet junks. Lots of guys doing cool for little cash especially with old Ironheads.

Actually, they're kind of surprising.

Surprising in the sense that some people are still trying to sell these things for piles of cash. Look at the used market. The suckers who bought them to live out their bad-boy-look-at-me fantasies and rode them 600 miles can't unload them for half price these days.

I was talking to the manager of a dealership that was selling a couple of "custom" brands for a few years. She told me they can't give away the couple they have left, even for half of what the dealer paid for them.

"That market is gone, dead," she said. She knew that the business was a dead end. Then she just shook her head and walked away.

Thank God for small favors.

About the only thing with any value in those is the motor and transmission and a lot of them are to over built and ******ed up to be much good. Shiney boat anchors I guess....
