Default Simoncelli

"Race director Paul Butler said circumstances surrounding Simoncelli’s accident (death) would be investigated."

I'm sorry the guy is dead; life is precious and Marco didn't get much of it.

BUT: the guy was a fatality waiting to happen. There is plenty of evidence that he was riding over his head, out of his league, and far too immature to be let loose in a Moto GP race. He's crashed out and injured other riders, he's made mistakes that a rider at his level should never have made, and he should have been cut from the series and sent back to the rookie ranks to grow up long ago.

The "tributes" and sympathic hand-wringing has already begun. It's bull****. Good riddance, and thank God he took himself out before he killed somebody else.

The Texas DOT has announced that: "Traffic accidents are caused by skid marks."

The state DOT researchers found and documented a near-100% correlation between traffic accidents and skid marks. "Wherever we find these cars colliding," he explained, "we also find these skid marks."

Watched the crash on Speed. That was ugly, ugly ugly.

You see that a lot in all forms of racing. Someone is in way over their heads becauses they have big financial backing.
