The Le Mans article on the main page is quite good. The author had this to say:
Simoncelli, who apparently has never heard that it is better to be silent and have people think you’re stupid than to open your mouth and prove it, said after the race: “For me I haven’t done anything incorrect, so for me this is a race ‘action’ (incident) … For me the punishment from Race Direction was because of all the controversy of the last few days, and from Estoril. For me if the same thing happened without me they would penalize nobody. This is my point of view.” For this guy – whose approach to this sport has drawn sharp criticism from a surprising number of riders– to claim no problem exists is a problem in itself. We had thought it might take a serious injury to turn on the lights for Simoncelli. Apparently it will take more than that. THERE’S a chilling thought.

Thomas Jefferson wrote that the 1st Amendment erected a "wall of separation" between the church and the state (James Madison said it "drew a line," but it is Jefferson's term that sticks with us today). The phrase is commonly thought to mean that the government should not establish, support, or otherwise involve itself in any religion. Its.......A FACT! |

Pedrosa was looking good after his return. Shame he re-injured the same area after recently rebuilding his strength.
You could tell the minute he hit the ground that he was injured.....

The thing I find even more strange than Simoncelli's attempt at passing Pedrosa is the fact that when Rossi does it nobody has one mention of the apparent violation. Hummm?
Did I miss something? I've never seen any bad judgments from Simoncelli other than this incident and some rubbing he and Lorenzo had last year. Course I can think of more than a few questionable passes made by Rossi. In my book if he does something that stupid again then take action, for now thats just racing. Besides it's rougher on the back grid of the AMA in my opinion. "Guys i'll kill ya for 19th place"!
