I thought the tire test was all new rubber. Someone at Dunlop needs to enjoy unemployment checks for that.

Strange stuff from Dunlop at a premier race you'd think they would have their stuff together. Or maybe because the tracks been repaved they thought they could get rid of some over stock.

Nah, sounds like typical Dunlop tires to me: I quit buyin 'em 'cuz all I get were always a couple-years old.......

(and they didn't last all that long, neither-either)

I've always used them with great success mileage and grip has always been good. Really weird crash though from Danny.

Grip I never really complained about, until they got a bit shagged - Date-codes: Yes. Mileage: Yes.

When you commute enough miles that you have to replace the back-tire every 3-5 weeks, it's tedious. And I'm not talkin' about just a square-edged-strip of cords down the middle of the tire (we've got curvy backroads here). Although in all-honesty and full-disclosure I HAVE worn a couple of tires that way.

Anyway, I haven't had a Dunlop (except as the carcass of a Tomahawk T3-Sport) in about 4 or 5 years. I don't even know what model-number is the current Dunlop S-T favourite.

When racing becomes about money it always goes south! Such a shame promoters don't do it for the love of the sport anymore.

Excellent post, thanks for that.

I'm sorry Danny...I was wrong. Now come back to bed.

Fun Facts to Know and Tell!

Thomas Jefferson wrote that the 1st Amendment erected a "wall of separation" between the church and the state (James Madison said it "drew a line," but it is Jefferson's term that sticks with us today). The phrase is commonly thought to mean that the government should not establish, support, or otherwise involve itself in any religion.

Its.......A FACT!
