Atlanta Motorsports Park and track - Sports Cars, Karts and Supermoto

This place, actually under contruction, will be the new king shiot in private motorsports parks. I know the owner. Skip Barber will be moving there and they have a Kart track & MX track as part of the project.

Boy wheres all the na-sayers now, tracks are opening up all over the place. Where's the profit coming from or perhaps a tax write off to a wealthy enthusiast.

There is an approved plan for a track near here. The owners ran out of money about 3 years ago, though.

Oh yeah sure,.. where's all the "no one has money for a track day. No body even goes to these events!" Where's all that usual talk?

That's a little different that being a member of a private track club. Trust me when I say that the high dollar exotic sportcar class is slightly different that most of us MOrons. They have that extra few thou annual to blow. Hell, the insurance payments alone would buy most of us bikes annually.
