At the conclusion of the San Marino GP, Valentino Rossi's special on board camera was stolen.* The recently debuted gyroscopic camera was ripped from the tail unit of the #46 M1, as the bike was surrounded by celebrating fans.
But this small piece of technology was not going down without a fight, and it transmitted some important images to Sergi Sendra, TV director for Dorna, before it was disconnected.
And now the message is making its way across the internet: be careful you petty criminal, we know who you are, we know what you look like, and we are looking for you right now.
In the meantime, it looks as though the small minded fools have already attempted to sell the object on E-bay, complete with foto evidence: 3.000 €.
But even people this stupid should know that it won't require a C.S.I. like effort to track them down...

They are looking now. Should have just loaded it on their bike and called it a day. You'd have the best riding videos amongst your crew.
