Cool Kawasaki?

Together At Last: Ben & Eric To Ride Kawasaki Superbikes?
by dean adams of Superbikeplanet
Wednesday, October 20, 2010
It appears that Pat Clark Motorsports will race Kawasakis in 2011 with riders Ben Bostrom (36), Eric Bostrom (34) and Chris Clark on ZX-10R machinery in a deal still being formulated. Clark raced with Bostrom on Yamahas in DMG Superbike in 2010.

Presumably, this would mark the full time return of Eric Bostrom to DMG Superbike racing.

Kawasaki sources, at their recent dealer convention in Las Vegas, were very non-committal about any potential involvement in DMG Superbike, official or unofficial. Instead they stressed that the new ZX-10R would be in-country soon and anyone wanting to race one could purchase one.

Thumbs up Kawasaki

The subsidiary was setup in 2007 as a result of the Japanese manufacturer's recent necessary split from Harald Eckl. The reason for the split was Eckl’s involvement with a competitor's MotoGP activities, which forced Kawasaki to terminate the relationship immediately. For the first time since Kawasaki returned to the premier class of motorcycle racing, the team became a complete ‘in house’ factory team.
