The Isle of Man TT
Next year is the Centennial of the TT mountain course, as they call it. I've never been. The way I see it 2011 may be the last running. Why? Simply, the bikes are too powerful for the course.
Last night on Disc HD they did the TT highlight reel. It was pretty cool. I've been a fan of "true" road courses for a long time and have yet to see a live race on a TT course. So, has anyone here been? Who helped with the booking of the trip? I need to save my pennies for next June and need to know a good way to do this on the cheap.

I love the isle don't get me wrong but you can go much quicker on a closed coarse race track.

I definitely agree with you there. The TT is a bucket list must for me aswell Ace. I love the thought of how raw it is, and sure they got balls and maybe a few beers short of a six pack upstairs. I would have to sit by the bridge once I get the chance although the mountain side looks really cool to.
I'd really like to see a challenge between the pros on the Isle against the pros on the tracks. One race at the isle and one race at a track( a world venue). With the media and the right coverage it could be the next Superbikers. Isn't that what they called that race in Carlsbad back in the early 80's with half dirt bikers roadracers, and flattrackers? Cant remember.
