I went in '89. It was an epic adventure. You will HATE Daytona after seeing IOM.

I camped by the sea with some other folks that rode over from Germany. The local farmer's wives cooked breakfast and dinner for us and charged 1# each. Can't beat it.

Douglas was filled with motorcycles of every description. MX on the beach. Enduro on the "Green Lanes". Vintage racing all during Practice Week.

Rent a bike in London, and take the ferry. It should be a lot easier to set up now than it was back then.

But GO, man, GO!
