Default Area 51 Grand Prix

Raced the CRF230 for the first time. 2hrs long with down pours before my class. The tack and woods was muddy and slick as hell. I dumped my bike prolly 6 or 7 times. I managed to get 10th place which was way better than i expected. Cant wait for the nect one in november, and maybe that one will be a bit dryer.

Awesome result for your first race! The harsh conditions will only make you better specially if it's dry for the next round. Congratulations Honda48 top ten is great. What was the most widely use bike in your class and how many riders were in your class?

Excellent! The snotty conditions helped your results, I am sure. The bigger, faster bikes are not an advantage in the muddy woods.

Thanks guys. Most of the bikes where 2 strokes. If they were four stroke they would most likely be 450's. i prolly raced 30 riders in my class.

Beat 2/3's the field on a lesser bike, it sounds like your off to a mighty fine start. Mud is the equalizer though, so dont expect top ten every time especially if conditions are better. But either way, excellent work!

Sorry but the picture function has been broken for years. You can upload the picture to imageshack for free and paste the "forum" link to MO if you want to go through the trouble.
