One of the most exciting races I'v seen come out of the DMG years.
Three of the top five ran off the track at one point or another including Pegram the eventual winner of race one.

2 Jake Zemke National Guard Jordan Suzuki Suzuki GSX-R1000
3 Aaron Yates Jordan Suzuki Suzuki GSX-R1000
4 Josh Hayes Team Graves Yamaha Yamaha YZF-R1
5 Blake Young Rockstar/Makita/Suzuki Suzuki GSX-R1000
6 Tommy Hayden Rockstar/Makita/Suzuki Suzuki GSX-R1000
7 John Hopkins Monster Suzuki Suzuki GSX-R1000
8 Ben Bostrom Pat Clark Motorsports Yamaha YZF-R1
9 Chris Ulrich RoadRacingWorld.com Suzuki GSX-R1000
10 David Anthony Aussie Dave Racing Suzuki GSX-R1000

I watched the race on Speed MOKE, and I have to agree, it was one of the best. Sure beats watching one guy lap the field, doesn't it?

Wadda ya mean supposed to be?? It IS the greatest ever. They just don't want to embarrass all the other bikes out there. That's how considerate Honda is.

7 of the top 10 are on Suzuki! And Suzook was at least competitive in Sunday's Moto GP race.

Aprillia really dominated with their V-4 at Portofino. I think that engine configuration might just catch on. I hear Harley is working on one...

I knew you'd chime in on this topic refferencing Mladin. I actually liked seeing him work for it last year. Can't wait to see the bordom bring him to the mainstage of World Superbike. Oh please, please, please.

I didn't watch either - I spent the weekend learning to be FAST in a car at an Evolution Driving School........

(well, attempting anyway)

(but I am faster - cut nearly 10-seconds off my times on a 45-second course from beginning to end of the school!)

I'm not a Mladin "hater". But no way, no how, not ever. He would be humiliated in any world racing venue. His ego would never allow it.

Gettin' too old anyhow. Doubt he could even get a ride.
