Yeah? The top racers go to MotoGP. Stay in the AMA and you are in third tier road racing. I'm not being mean. It's just the truth. Mladin stayed in the little leagues.

Mladin wasn't "revealed from a coccoon of red balloons". He ain't sheit.
Seriously, he had his day. I remember him duking it out with Duhamel at Daytona when he was on his way up; that race remains the best I ever saw. I wonder why he never went to GP; surely he must have been offered a ride at some point along the way.

I think he did go to GP once when he was young. He was on a cruddy team though.
I guess he fell in love with making easy money.

Mladin went to grandprix in 1993 and raced with Cagiva. I think Nickys answer is correct until Mladin decides to step up. I hope he does step up.
But until he does he's no where near the top five.
