Um.....on another note......I mean the title of the thread......I wonder how things were in that Ducati garage after Fabrizio took #2.....seems like he may have wanted to help out a TEAMMATE with an almost invisible POINT LEAD on a rather formidable PHENOM of an opponent and let Haga take it for the points.

but I'm new, is this not considered a realistic possibility? Should Fabrizio have been looking out for himself and no one else?

Racing isn't football; it's NOT a team sport. Some contests should remain individualized, not morphed into "teams." I'm not talking about the pit, engineering, mechanics, or the other off-track crew, they're a team, that's fine. But putting the guys on the track into a "team" sucks. Look what happened in F1 when the "team" had one of their cars crash on purpose so the other "team" member could win. Renault and the rest of that crew should be banned for 2-5 years for that ****.

I'll bet Spies takes it with a couple of wins and some top 3 finishes in the remaining races. All he needs is a fast bike, and he's had that at many races already this year.

Not in roadracing most times atleaast. Specially not at Ducatis test track, and infront of his home town (Fabrizio). Riders have done stranger things infront of their home race.
