Don't think that smile Rossi was wearing will be so big once Ben makes his move, although on the Satellite team he'll be way down on power until he gets the Factory seat, or so Colin says.

Spies breaks my streak
Spies will race the Tech 3 bike next season. This was decided this week after he already announced the return to WSBK. Looks like Toseland is unemployed for a minute.
All good things come to an end. I had two seasons in a row where I guessed right on who was going where with my bike night buddies. And even though he said he was going to WSBK I'm man enough to kill the streak because the next season hasn't started and even dudes are allowed to change their minds. Now, here's why he changed and see if I am right. In 2011 there will be a suggestion that 1000cc "production" crankcase bikes replace the 800s because of the insane cost of motors. There are goods and bads to this, but reality is that development cost and privateer teams can't play- so, if you use crankcases from production bikes the reliability will go up and the heads and valvetrains can still be "proto-type". He's racing the 800 against Rossi before Rossi bails in 2011. Rossi might take a Duc ride in 2011, but the rules will have changed for the new motor and no-one wants to start their rookie career on a development bike. Who benefits from the motor rule. Ducati. They produce the Desmo GP bike for the street. All they have to do is race the 990 motor and that already produces 250hp in race trim. My thoughts are not a reflection of fact, but usually have a basis of reality. Or something like that. Carry on.
