Heard about King Kenny pulling out his old TZ flat tracker to race at this event. Missed it last year, will have to miss it this year as well.

Cool

Who cares who it actually belongs to? I'd just love to see him on it. Now that would be epic. Besides its the actual bike If I read it correctly.

I did see it back then. The race was awesome. I think it's on You Tube out there somewhere. Check out how he was sliding that thing along the hay bales on the high line. Wild.

LR- In that race isnt he the only one to be on a TZ converted to a flat tracker. Boy do I miss the days of Grand Champions. My boss here used to roadrace and flattrack. Pretty good from what I'v heard and seen here in Florida.

Yep. Nobody had seen one before. It was an experiment. He won that Indy Mile and then the bike was banned for being too dangerous. Kenny didn't help things when he said at the post race interview "They don't pay me enough to ride that thing". I guess it didn't handle worth a crap, but it was scary fast. Kenny had all he could handle that night.

Cool

I remember reading about the last flat-track race of the year with Shorbert and how he lost the Grand national Championship by 1 point.
WTF happened to the AMA, sad stuff.
