Yamaha needs to be printing posters of that before Laguna.

Alot of argument could be made as to why the professional track riders will not compete in this particular race. Back in the day their was a few but these days none of them will race the isle o man.

I'm guessing their contracts forbid them from doing anything 'high-risk', like needlepoint, rock-climbing, hang-gliding, or entering races like the IOM TT, which almost always sees one or more fatalities every time.

So, even if they wanted to, they're prolly not allowed.

I haven't seen the interview with VR after his parade lap with Ago, on which he was passed by one of the Superbike guys doing 180-ish.

Supposedly he said the TT racers have 'BIG balls', or at least words to that effect.

Moke- Practically every one of those guys is a "professional" roadracer. Maybe, you just haven't read up on who's in the field or the history of legend racers that have competed. Remember that this is more like endurance race than a traditional 100 km 45 min shootout. Those guys that race TT are in races like Suzuka and such that are usually a minimum of 4 hours.
If you check the sanctioned motorcycle endurance races around the world you will find many IOM TT riders.

Rossi said that about Guy Martin about 10 days ago, actually.
