I'm sure the racing will be closer. As long as Mladin is off the podium, I'll be happy as a clam! I like DuHamel, but his time passed about 4 years ago. If Michael Jordan was still the best NBA player, I'd say the league sucks. We need a new breed of great racers and we really aren't getting them. No development or something.

That's what the Supersport class is for now. Those kids riding that are 16 and up get to ride in the class for 3 seasons then they have to move up to Daytona or American Superbike (that's the way I read the rules, anyway). It's race like a pro or go back to club racing at that point. What we need is more privateer investment and DMG's ability to help those teams with marketing and sponsorship guidance will eventually make that happen, too.
