Here's your answer

Republicans are warmongers that scare people into believing we need better defense. Dems are economic doom and gloomers that believe the Fed is the only entity able to make your life better.
Just remember this: 10% unemployment by the end of 2009 only accounts for 30 million people. If you weren't smart enough to relize your job was at stake and you're one of the 30 mil tough. Sorry for you, go to work for McDonalds or Quick Trip- they're hiring. Otherwise, the skies not falling.

AMP Atlanta Motorsports Park: Home

Look at this place and tell me that "the rich" aren't the ones paying the bills in this country. I hope to be working for and with Jeremy within the next several weeks. This guy has put together a Board of Directors that would make most Fortune 500 companies envy them. They have a list of about 200 pre-paid memberships that start at $35,000. In Escoll they have enough money to start-up and operate this track for the first three years without even getting into sponsorship monies.
But those "wealth envy" NIMBYs are too damn stupid to understand that this track will bring in an "under-estimated" $10 million in taxes and revenues over the next four years. All they are whining about is the noise (horse farm owners). But they forget about the fact that VIR is actually located in the middle of horse farm country. All they care about is self-interest. Not what it can do for employment, the tax base, the tax generation and the potenial of new residents. Adding more people to the community will also increase the property tax rolls.
We're not dying of/for economic set-backs. We're re-adjusting because stupid people did stupid things with their resources and it's come back to bite them in the butt. The strong will get stronger, the willing will survive and the weak will drain our ability to get things done efficiently. Then next year we'll all be socialist. Woo Hoo!

"We're re-adjusting because stupid people did stupid things with their resources and it's come back to bite them in the butt. "

Isn't that the heart of the Obama 'stimulus'?
