hello,

i have been working on an old '78 honda cb125s for a couple months now, and the last parts i need to make it street legal are all the components for the front brake. This includes brake cable, all necessary screws, basically everything that has to do with a front brake.

if anyone out there has a parts bike with a brake that could fit, i would be eternally grateful! name your price!

Ah yes, the fabled cable actuated disc brake, that worked on three ball-bearings and a ramp inside the caliper. Good luck in finding one, everybody pirated them off old 125 Hondas for use on choppers in the early 80's.

Have you found a cable yet?
we are going to montreal next week and buying 9.000 honda parts from a closed dealer
the inventory list shows 3 of the cables for the CB 125
45450-383-671

we are in Canada and we sell on Ebay.
let me know if you need one and i can make sure we pick it before we pack the complete order in boxes for transport.

I just bought the same bike a couple weeks ago

You can buy a new front brake cable on a site like BikeBandit for around $20. The rest of the brake you will have to buy used unfortunately.

Good luck...and if you find a source of used '78 CB125S' parts let me know!
