I Am In Serious Need Of A Headlight Assembly For My 2001 R1. It Is The Final Peice For This Rebuild And I Just Don't Want To Spend The Money For A Brand New One. I Can Use One From Any Years Between 1998 And 2002.

Are You Sure A 1997 Won't Fit? Many Of Them Are Interchangable Across Model Years. Be Sure To Check Your Local Craig's List For Used Items Like This. Google "Used Motorcycle Parts" And You May Find A Supplier In Your Area.

When anyone type's in cap's all the time, that's how it comes out. Besides the model year R1's started in 1998. 1997 was the older body style after the FZR and before the R1. The YZF1000 was 97.
