desperatley need a bandit engine cover

starter cover on left hand side, the one with 9 bolts off a 1200s or whatever will fit, GSXR 1100, 750, RF600, 900 ect

cant find one anywhere.

please help

i would have thought there would be stacks in the graveyard but no one seems to have one over here, one from suzuki is $220 but i dont want to shell out that for my bike, its getting a bit long in the tooth now and just want to keep it going. someone must be using one for an ash tray somewhere

Find a good Welder to fix your old one - somebody that knows what a "lapping plate" is.

If you were anyplace close to SW MO - I'd give it a shot for you.

It wouldn't be pretty - but it'd hold oil.

Barring that, use JB Weld on it after a thorough cleaning. It'll work until you can find a usable one.

It's $127 on bikebandit, if it's the one I think it is.

i got a tig welder but there is a piece missing the size of my fist and its cracket through one of the bolt holes so not really worth the effort. $127 is enough in kiwi dollars and postage ect.

i have one (9 bolt) had it rechromed about a yearand a half ago. it still looks brand new. the bike was wrecked 3 or 4 weeks after i put it on . no damage was done to it. i did not have any insurance, so striped it down and have been selling parts the last year to ty and recover my loses. i want $75.00 plus what ever the shipping is .this part kooks brand new ,not a scratch on it. plus i have many other parts for sale, as i have have several bikes that i have been parting out. the only draw back is i recently moved t the USA, if you are interested email me at stud96flhr@aol.com, also i have ton od harley parts i am geting rid of. i want to retire so i am selling everything, plus i am very opened minded and would consider any trades, and i mean anything
