Clever Idea, my only issues would be with that rapidly-rotating object next to the mounting-points that might tend to snag any "loose ends", the issue of weight-bias if you overloaded the bag too-much, and..... Oh yeah - the F'n COST of $150 for something I'd be worried-over due to the above reasons!

After years of messing with soft luggage on previous bikes I finally gave up and on my ZRX I got removable adapters from SWMotech and put hard Givis on it. Hard luggage is definitely worth the expense. It doesn't take any longer to mount the side racks and boxes as it did to arrange the soft bags and tie them down.
