Not quite the same result as when Ducati's WSB rider won the GP a year or so back. I think Spies finished in 14th, but that's from memory. Ya gotta wonder whether Mladin is doing the old "told ya so".

First ride on a new bike, new tires and, new track with his fastest lap being next to last of the race it looked like he was coming on strong at the finish. We'll see what assen has in stock for him with a little more experiance on the bike and Tyres. (being motogp had to add the y)

I doubt it. It's not a top 5 bike no matter who's on it. Spies had a great "rain" practice session and they all knew a dry race would be tough. If you look at his "split" times from the second have of the race it would have been a top 10 bike with 4 more laps. Laguna and Indy are the important races and with real laps on the bike now it's possible Spies can hit the podium for Laguna. That is, if Rossi, Stoner and Pedrosa go down.

Loris gets his seat back. Dr cleared him to race. Gotta wait until Laguna.

Oh well, at least I'll be at that one, and he'll know the track. Roger started out ok on the Kow last year.

Ah... I can smell the race gas already!!!! Can't wait to hear them fire up for first practice, though the 800's don't sound nearly as good as the 990's did.

1. There is only one Troy Bayliss.
2. Mladin who? Was he in the 250's?
3. Spies did fantastic.
4. The important question is whose got the list of riders that won't be coming back on what next year.

Why their heads on a pike of course. If I thought it would do any good.
