I'd be interested to see what someone who's been hands-on with this helmet thinks. Another site did a review of the European precursor and was underwhelmed (can you be just plain whelmed?) with the build quality. I really like the idea of a modular with the internal sun visor for commuting, but so far haven't found one that lives up to the potential...

I immediately took the "sun visor" off my new Nolan. Sorry, but a tinted strip of plastic does not replace a Revo lens; it just adds a layer of distortion and annoyance. At least for me...

Default What is this sun that you speak of?

I like the flip down sun visor[Nolan]. Could it be better, you bet. Where I am though the sun is an off again on again thing so for me the ability to flip it up or down is a god send. What is that bright thing up there anyway...

Didn't break the shear pins on the ice, er snow that fell all weekend while I was away at work. Pretty impressed, better check to see that they actually are shear pins
