No President since Carter has ever had a recession. All that economic doldrum is just a 'time out'.

Too bad now that the general populace is incapable of facing reality. Recessions are normal and cannot be avoided, only postponed. The foolish financial policies and too easy loan money of the last 20 years is leading to a worse recession than normally would occur. But the idiots believe that politicians can protect us from recessions and naturally the crooks are more than happy to let them think that.

Collectively the nation is insane. They keep repeating the same action (electing Rats and Pubes) and expecting different results.

Spending trillions of dollars in Iraq is what has us so far in debt. We couldn't print enough money in a month of Sundays to buy ourselves out. Combined with the classic bait and switch sub prime home loan collapse, giving credit lines to 10 year olds and all the other rapacious credit and lending scams of the last dozen years it's no wonder we're in a recession. I'm surprised anyone would even want to be Pres. after the mess the current dildo and his cronies have left.

I'd bet you that even without a war in Iraq they'd have found a way to spend an extra trillion bucks. That's the one thing the republicrats are good at. The less you get for the money that happier they seem to be.

So much for a well reasoned and insightful post.
