Default As If The Cagers Aren't Bad Enough

Now we're taking each other out:

Two men die on U.S. 27 when motorcycles collide -- South Florida Sun-Sentinel.com

A little background: US 27 is a 4 lane divided highway that runs through the Everglades and sugar cane farms. It's a favorite ride on Sunday mornings, and bikes from Miami and Fort Lauderdale meet at Everglades Holiday Park to ride around Lake Okeechobee. The area these guys were is completely barren, there's not even a gas station for 25-30 miles.

This is a load of crap, Ken. These guys were on the safest motorcycles in the world. There were no cars to oppress them. The article has to be made up. Maybe if they'd had tiered licensing......

Thank heavens they had helmets! It might have been much more serious if they weren't wearing the right safety gear.

Thank God they were wearing helmets and riding the safest motorcycles in the world. If not, all we would hear is that tired refrain 'a helmet would have saved their life'. Well, stupidity will rule over plastic every day and twice on Sunday.

I blame it on those curvy roads. If you can't see them coming, how on earth are you going to avoid them. No really, aren't the roads insanely flat and boring down there? Bet gators are a worse hazard than the riders?

It was Obviously a First-Class Assasination by a thoroughly-dedicated Ninja. All I know is, I do NOT want to know what the "smackee" did to pyss-off the Yakuza...........

... riding Honduh and Suzuki. So much for your Ninja theory.

Now if they'd been on Boss Hosses the resultant congruence in space at velocity of two planetary sized objects would have caused a tear in the space-time fabric of the universe and Florida would have dropped into an alternate universe where normal laws of logic don't prevail and the people of Florida would see themselves faced with an insane choice for new leaders in 2008.

Hey, wait a second.....

See? That's the beauty of Insanity! - a True Ninja would NEVER draw-attention to himself by riding a Moto that proclaimed that he WAS one!

... I can already swear to it being an alternate reality. A place without substance where there is a fifth dimension beyond those known to man. It is a dimension vast as space and timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between the pit of his fears and the summit of his entitlements. This is the dimension of "I'm old gimmee gimmee gimmee". You're traveling to another dimension -- a dimension not only of sight and sound but of metamucil. A journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of social security. That's a signpost up ahead: your next stop: the Blue Hair Zone!
