Piaggio is not that famous as Vespa even they come from the same company. In Vietnam Honda scooters and motorbikes are the most due to the spare part availabilities and their quality. People love riding Honda as they pay less for fuel and can get a good price when they sell their bikes. I don't personally think Piaggio do a good business in Vietnam.

That place has plenty mopeds and 50s when I was there in 68-69. God only knows how it looks now that they have private property ownership and a largely free enterprise economy.
